Aluminum foil and baking soda – I find you have to scratch up the aluminum foil a little to get it going.
    have a look

Most jewelry stores will clean and polish it for free. There is also a solution that jewelry stores sell that will clean the ring over night.

You can also try toothpaste or some of the cleaning solution that you submerge your jewelry into and let it soak for a few minutes.

Try baking soda! I use it on all my silver jewelry. It also cleans sink fixtures with tarnishing them. It works!

Wear it. . . honestly, when I haven’t worn my silver rings for a while, they get dingy. I put it on and leave it on for a couple days and the oils in my hand bring back the lustre of the silver. I haven’t ever cleaned my rings with polish. I’ve also heard that toothpaste works too!!

I have found that wearing silver polishes it. I had a necklace that was tarnished, but it became nice and shiny after wearing it a few days. I am surprised the cloth didn’t work. Try rubbibg it with a finger. You can also purches pouches and jewlry boxes that prevent tarnish.

Have you tried regular tooth paste? You can try rubbing it with tooth paste using a linen cloth.

Silver is a very common and inexpensive metal that comes from the family of Metalflexibilius, a latin term meaning metal that can be flexed at it’s natural state. In order to polish again your metal, place it in a solution based of: 1 part lemon juice, 1 part baking soda and 2 part water. Let it soak for about 10 minutes, then remove and with a baking soda product such as a toothpaste based one, polish once again to a shining and new look. This will work because of the mineral restaration required for the ring. If it is a fake silver ring, it will turn green or copper like.

The easiest way to clean and not scratch your silver ring or any silver jewelry or tea services is a paste of baking soda. Apply a paste of baking soda and water on the ring and rub gently. You’ll be amazed and how beautiful it will be.
Storing silver should be done in a muslin bag. This will allow the metal to breath and not tarnish it.

Ok seriously a good at home trick is rinse with water, then take and old toothbrush, warm water over it add toothpaste of any kind just like brushing your teeth. Start scrubbing in the and all around in the cracks for about a good minute or so then make sure to rinse thourghly to remove excess toothpaste, Any brand will do but I found Colgate Whitening works best. If it still doesn’t shine or look new it probably isn’t real silver or it could be really dirty and you can repeat the process. I ensure that its guaranteed to shine, I know you’ll enjoy your new shiny silver. Oh quick tip, every time you take your ring off be sure to clean with cloth to remove dirt and oil.

Try Tarn-X. I’ve used it on on my silverware and coins. Its easily available at WalMart, Target, grocery stores, etc. . .

Basically any sorta metal poilsh should work, Brasso, Brite Boy, Nevr Dull. Tarn-X Seems to work best though on Silver.

V05 hairdress that comes in the tube, is excellent for cleaning silver. I think a little booklet comes in the box, to tell you the many uses of V05

A paste of Baking Soda and cider vinegar works the best. I use it for all silver (old and new). Works magic.
